first of all check in the advanced settings that VG starts disabled
(in your settings vg starts at reboot and makes an error as you have a mess in your collection )

quit vg

delete the files Alerte asked you to delete

REBOOT your pc

look at the black V in your taskbar and wait till it stopps rotating don t touch anything

PS: the latest versions of Zonealarm messes more then they do good.... you may want to close it

one time i remember i have made 8 copy before the program want give me back my catalog list.

then the size of this file, models.lst must have 500 kb environ.

ok Here is data folder after deleated files. I didnt see newmodels.lst to deleate

is ok np, remove all other program and start VGHD and wait, no forget no use update after.

after you have made this copy look in the program the name of show you have if is 550, then go where is write my collection and look (all card not download) one name like this and active this for see. and download one by one.

hello @truckers86, you can aslo copy the other files, but the more important is models.lst who have the complete list of your shows, after when you get several show, made again a backup by date.

i don't know why i have this file surely one ancien save !!!! and i store all files ;-)

but i true after my test of delete the files i not have more this file. then i think is ok. forget this file.

My collection has ONCE again disappeared too. This seems to be a persistent on-going problem, and is really annoying. What is TOTEM doing to address this problem? IT is not like it is a new bug...I have had this problem occur since I first became a member.

Wwhen you can reporduce this defect 100% of the thime on demand, then you can explain the problem to Totem and they can relatively easily fix it. Until then undertsand that no one understands WHY the problem is occuring.

This means Totem can not identify the actual error and fix it

This problem can be reproduced, I do it often enough to know that with me it occurs on or just after 11pm gmt, I have noticed that at this time the connection speed is extremely low around 3kbs or lower whether this is a factor I don't know.

also if I then do check for updates again straight afterwards my collection come back.

Yeah... I too like the "Ahhh Fix" of the "check for updates" button when it comes after the "OMG my girls are gone!" panic/sadness effect!

I just wish that after the next upgrades (new site etc.) that Totem buckles down and makes the tech solid before any new tech things are added!

Thanks giving me an explanation, and thanks to Regi3008 too. Last night, Monday - CST - in North America, my collection disappeared..at about 10:30pm - 11:00pm. Of course, this is just an estimation, as I can't remember precisely what time it was. I was actually viewing a show, and all of a sudden I was just getting trailers..no full girl shows. It seems to happen usually on the weekends, however, this time, it was MONDAY @ about 10 45pm. Please understand, I was not attempting to issue a complaint, just wondering if TOTEM is aware of this bug.

11 PM gmt or midnight french time I pressed check for updates, the connection speed was 0.55kbs and after update complete I was 0 models again

models.vghd size 7.18 KB (7,360 bytes)

11.05 pm did check for updates again and models returned

this time models.vghd size 7.22 KB (7,400 bytes)

Update from last night. Tonight, I had to shut down VGHD completely, and restart it..after that my model collection returned. When I tried to view the collection originally - all card were there..but it gave me (zero) for number of models in collection. It seems that the problem is only temporary, and usually corrects itself after about 1 to 2 hours. I will keep the mods posted on what happens next. Thanks again!

my collecion gone again and yes I backed up the files then replaced with backed up files
